A rainy Winter and a hot Spring brought us a healthy and calm final cicle and harvest. Vintage qualified like Very Good by the Rioja council. Our Nomada 2015 from Labastida will show after some years that harvest could be qualified like Excellent.

Again in this vintage, the four best plots from our State were selected: Matadula, Henares, Andaverde and Las Ginebras.

EL NOMADA 2015 has been vinified in conic stainless steel vats of 10.000 kg filled from the bottom avoiding any damage to the fruit when grapes are entered. After fermentation, juice starts its ageing in New French barrels where malolactic fermentation is done and wine has been ageing for 15 months.

Intense cherry color with some violet hints which are not usual in such a structured and serious wine like this.

Bottled in April 2017 and tasted after 8 months in bottle, wine shows a lovely and elegant toasty aromas from barrels blended with some green pepper and peanut, black fruit and licorice. Really recommended a big glass for enjoying all the richness on the nose.

IN the mouth is big and long, with a great structure and acidity. Extremely elegant. A gastronomic wine really versatile for paring with. Wine for being enjoyed already but, from our point of view, much better from Summer 2018.

To be consumed at 17º-18ºC

Paring with: Red meat, cured and semi-cured goat cheeses and all kind of stews
